THE STORY

Wanderlove LOVES stories, so I thought'd it'd be only fitting to let you in on the story behind Wanderlove.

Wanderlove was created out of a need to live life to the fullest. Life isn't about living the same day in and out. It's about finding your purpose, sharing your passions, exploring new places and connecting with strangers who turn into best friends.

Wanderlove started under a different name, "Lexy C Photography", which was about a girl and her hobby. I carried a full-time job, and photography & cinematography was something I pursued (not very seriously) on the side. I wasn't really living life, I was sort of just going through the motions. My heart was neither in my full time job nor my side business. One day I woke up and decided there was more to life and I needed to push away my self doubt, other people's reservations and start living the dreams I felt my heart yearning for. That's when I decided to take the leap of faith, quit my job - even without any clients, and pour myself into my full-time business, Wanderlove.

Wanderlove is about trading in comfort for inhibition. It's about believing in yourself even when no one else will. It's about not taking life for granted. Some people have a strong desire to quit their jobs, to go travel, to start a business. Wanderlove isn't about a desire, it's about the action of actually going for it and being completely submerged in the unknown. It's about living and loving with all of your heart, putting everything you believe in faiths hands - knowing that it's going to hurt if you fall flat on your face, but being crazy enough to know it's going to hurt 10x worse if you didn't just try.

So in summary, Lexy C Photography was about a girl, a camera and a dream. Wanderlove is so much more. It's about a girl who know's nothing but living her crazy dream and inspiring others to keep discovering, to keep learning and to never stop pursing their dreams and living in the unkown.

Β

To me, fearless is not the absence of fear. It’s not being completely unafraid. To me, fearless is having fears. Fearless is having doubts. Lots of them. To me, fearless is living in spite of those things that scare you to death.
